Bosch 15703 Oxygen Sensor Fitment

I purchased a Delphi FJ10565 CSEFI to MFI fuel injector conversion kit and a set of four Bosch 15703 Oxygen Sensors at Amazon for my 1996 S-10 Blazer. They had these products available and at very affordable prices. After replacing the fuel injectors and noticing a marked improvement, I then proceeded to replace the four oxygen sensors. I did not have any problems with the units near the catalytic converters as they were very accessible and they only required some penetrating oil and the special socket to remove and replace. Make sure you warm up your vehicle for a couple of minutes to facilitate the removal of the old O2 sensors. The units near the exhaust manifold are much more cramped to access, requiring 'crow-foot' removers to replace. The right bank sensor was difficult to remove but the left bank required me to take it to a muffler shop as it had nearly welded itself onto the exhaust tube. Thirty-five dollars later and a new tap/retread job, I had all new four O2 sensors on. The level of smoothness is highly noticeable. I thought that the fuel injector replacement had made a sizable difference, but when I added the replacement of the O2 sensors, the difference was remarkable. Without ignoring that my vehicle has now 178K miles, the level of smoothness and performance is outstanding. I will be checking the MPG as I was getting an average of 13 MPG; regardless, the Blazer is, once again, reliable to drive.

Obviously written by a woman who has lived and experienced the true outdoor life, a woman who has found love and appreciation among the trees and logging roads - this book grabbed me from the introduction and never let go.

Any book that can describe the beauty of our National Parks back-country and the poetry in swinging an axe is an instant classic for me - and this book does just that.

I strongly recommend this book - my only complaint was that I wish it were longer, I wish I could keep reading and enjoying the cadence and words of this author.

If you have any kind of affinity for the outdoors, for our National Parks, then you won't regret a single second spent reading this title.

I'm a longtime reloader for rifle, shotgun and pistol so when I wanted to get started in archery, I started to look for the archers equivalant of "reloading" equipment. This jig is well made, easy to use and allows a novice to create very accurate arrows with a small amount of practice. There are a few flaws which have been hashed out in other reviews (solidity of the nock on the holder, the piece which holds the vane can be a bit squirrely) but nothing that can't be overcome with a bit of practice... You WILL screw up an arrow but don't let that stop you. Once you get it down, it's easy breezy. It puts a perfect 3 degree every time.

Couple of suggestions:

1. Bohning includes some aluminum backed tape to be used with "instant" fletching glue. Don't use it or the instant glue; too much hassle (along with the possibility of permenantly gluing stuff together)... Just use the old standby Fletch-Tite. give each vane about 60 seconds to set up and then move on.

2. When you go to lay the vane (in the holder of course) onto the shaft, make sure you're putting a bit of pressure onto the shaft to hold it firmly in place. There's actually a small indentation in the plastic where the nock gets seated and if the arrow isn't seated firmly in it, you can get uneven fletches from the arrow moving around.

3. If possible, buy a sample of the vanes you want to use before purchasing a ton of them and test them. I tried to use Zeon Fussion vanes (as they are 2" vanes) but they fit and fletched like crap in this jig (kinda crappy vanes overall actually). Stick with Blazers or VERY similar and you should have no problems.
