Impressed with the trueness and sizing of the last. A true 12 narrow. Not too tight. My toes don't bump the front like so many shoes out there. My feet are not constrained. Feel more like my favorite Cole Hahn loafers in 12 N. Difficult to find a quality shoe in Narrow. My old Sperrys started falling apart,but not bad after 15 years. These seem more comfortable and substantial. I read too many reviews about the newer Sperrys and their quality. Heard that Sebago makes an excellent shoe. Interior lining is all leather, as is the footbed. This is a step up from my Sperry Topsiders, but have the same "feel". Choice of Narrows in terms of color etc. in the Sebago Docksiders made me contact the company for a list of what they had available in a Narrow width. Very helpful. The Schooners have a little more support than my old topsiders ever did. Am just breaking them in now, with socks on, before going minimalist in them. So far so good. Different sole design from the Topsiders for those who will use them on boats. Don't seem to mar. So I have crossed the street after 30 years with Sperry and am now wearing my first Sebago's. Good thing I am not back on the Cape and having my friends accuse me of being a turn-coat. Now there is a place that has a rivalry over these brands that could make political party conflict pale in comparison. Not on a boat anymore. Just High Desert. And these are well-made shoes. Beautiful leather and color. Works great in the sand and on the street. Remember, the ocean was here at one time. If this becomes beach front property again, I'll be ready.

BalasHapusI go to cosmetology school and I work in retail, so I'm on my feet all the time. I'm always looking for shoes that are comfortable and look good too. I was a little nervous about ordering since the closest available size to mine was a 7 narrow, and I usually wear a 6 in regular or wide widths. From the other reviews I could tell these ran small so I decided to take the chance on it and I'm glad I did! The width is just right and there is just enough room in these to slip them on and off without actually falling off of my feet and I don't walk out of them either. Plus everyone keeps telling me how cute they are! My only suggestion is to wear thicker socks or pantyhose until they're broken in so they don't blister your ankles. After the second wear they'll be fine.
BalasHapusI ordered a 7.5 N based on the description and reviews that the shoe was wide. So the narrow size did run true to size and they fit perfectly! They are so versatile and can easily be worn with any dressy clothes. Have worn them multiple times and are very comfortable. Definitely recommend if you love oxford shoes!
BalasHapusThe two most important things in a shoe for me are looks and comfort, this shoe rocks in both departments. Also, I have big feet and these make my feet look tiny... which is the first time a white shoe has done that for me. I am so shocked at how cozy these shoes are, with the soft padded interior. You will not beat the price or the quality of this shoe... I will be ordering every color!

BalasHapusGreat shoe, fit and look. the only thing is that I wanted patent leather and these looked shiny in the picture and is described as "shiny". Not shiny but love them anyway.
BalasHapusI ordered these shoes in red and black/white with my fingers crossed that the wide would fit my foot as my feet sometimes swell. They did and I was jumping for joy. While the red color is a shiney patent and the black/white are leather they are super cute and ultra chic. I wore the red with extra fitted black cigarette pants, black v-neck tshirt, and a black casual blazer to a house party and my shoes were a hit. I was looking extra stylish, but in a way that seemed as if I wasn't trying to. Very hip and fresh like I dressed that way everyday. As a person that wears very "safe" colors, red patent shoes was something different for me, but I looooove these shoes. I am on the hunt now for a silver pair in the wide width.
