On top of that, you actually get a story!

The story itself is intelligent and able to be related to; it would have made an interesting novel in and of itself. The process by which a person not only comes to the realization that he/she is missing something in her life, and then the skilled portrayal of the moments of critical decision related to not only the lifestyle, but the internal mechanics of each of the characters shines through. What engaged me the most during my reading was getting both sides of the situation: the internal thoughts and emotions of both the dominant and the submissive. Having that dual perspective is unique and allows a more complete understanding of the situation: the characters motivations, emotions, feelings and desires.

This is erotic fiction, to be sure, and the elements of the narrative that relate to the very intimate scenes around bondage and domination are well written and arousing. But what I would say is that they don't overpower either the story that the author is unfolding, nor does it detract from the insightful exploration of the things that are going on inside the minds of those involved. This is what draws out this authors work as distinct, new and innovative.

I've owned several extendable hook pruners over the years and they all have had pretty much the same list of faults, centered around the slipping, rotating and excessive flexibility of the fiberglass pole when it's extended.

Well Hallelujah, somebody has finally seen the light! Thank you, Trail Blazer. The XTD-14FE has the industry standard fiberglass outer tube, but the inner tube is aluminum, and quite stiff. But wait, there's more. The aluminum inner tube has flats formed on both sides that index with the outer tube, so no rotation. The aluminum inner tube also has 1/4" dia holes spaced at 6" intervals the entire length of the tube that are engaged by a simple thumb operated spring-loaded pin. It's a positive pin lock with absolutely zero slippage, absolutely always. No more collet nut that usually has to be loosened with pliers (and still slips), simply press a button with your thumb to adjust the length of the pole. A positive stop at maximum extension prevents the inner tube from being accidentally pulled out of the outer tube.

The cutter head has double-sheave 5-part rigging that provides a long, easy pull to cut even the largest oak branches that will go into the throat of the cutter. There's a man-size rubber handle on the end of the braided nylon pull-rope. The pull-rope runs through an idler pulley that takes it closely down the pole, so no tangling with brush. The saw can be installed and removed without tools and is reversible when not required so it's out of the way, but still right there if you need it. The people who engineered the XTD-14FE obviously have some real-world experience. It's made in Canada.

Modern Mens Blazer Button Black

I bought this coat based on the picture only and was really impressed how it fits. This coat has a nice hang and is one of the best coats I've ever had yet so affordable. Not of the best quality and snags are easily pulled from just about anywhere if you happen to rub against sharp edges or corners. As soon as I saw them popping up I would just trim them with fine scissors and all looked good. At that time I was not overly concerned with the issue thinking: "What the heck, since it is so affordable I'll just buy another one". This turned out not to be the best choice I made and should have taken a better care of my coat. I wanted to purchase more of the same to stock up (Navy and Black) but they no longer had it in my size (52L). I'm hopeful they will again have my size in stock. For the time being I will keep checking it weekly.

I'm waiting to see what comes out for cases as I hate the bulkiness of the "frame" type ones, so I bought this for interim use. The Exact(TM) X-Line TPU Case for SamSung Galaxy Note 8.0 Clear is inexpensive, quick and easy to apply or remove - to change micro SD cards, for example - but fits snugly with no risk of coming off unless you want it to. I don't feel it detracts from the looks of the device with any significance, but in addition to protection it makes my Note 8 more comfortable to hold - even as the case provides a bit of grip. I rather like the way the case gives the effect of a crystal bezel to my Note. If there was a way to put some kind of "smart cover" with this I would keep it as my permanent case, but I prefer a real, somewhat padded front cover of some sort and not just a thin scratch shield (not included), so the search is on.

I've also purchased an STM Blazer Padded Sleeve with Removable Carry Strap for iPad/Tablet (stm-214-029G-01) to use with the Note long term. It hasn't arrived, but if it's as nice as the STM Jacket D7 Padded Case for iPad mini, Nook, Fire, Galaxy and 7-inch Devices (DP-2138-1), Black/Green we picked up for hubby, it will be the perfect added protection (we have cats, so protective overkill is good).

Ladies Black Crisscross Patterned V Neck

So light weight and airy! This top's material is very nice. It's light weight and looks like a knit pattern. The picture sort of looks like it's shiny but it's just the woven style of the material. It's SO light weight that this would work well even in the hot Texas heat that I'm used to in the summers. It's a great top alone with a pair of jeans, or dressed up with a cute blazer and a pair of slacks and heels. SO versitile and because it's so light weight I can use this with other layers all year round. The crisscross pattern is very flattering across the waistline and this top falls nicely at mid-hip. Very comfortable top, I was a bit unsure of it when I first ordered it but figured for this price ($6.50 when I purchased it) I could give it a try and I'm so glad I did. I consider this a bargain for such a great piece and will be looking at other tops that FineBrandShop offers.

Carbon Express 2 Inch Mayhem Hunter

I ruined a pair of off white pants that went with a suit. Washed it in with RED clothes and ended up with UGLY pink pants. I tried bleaching them with no help (Had run them through the dryer). I thought they were gone forever. Then I saw this and thought I'd at least try. They are back to a white color.

Note: When I opened the box I read that you need 2 or more packs if you are using your washer for this product, or a stainless steel pot and a wooden spoon, or stick, if you use a stove top.

Took me a while to decide what to do. I only had one pack and NO stainless steel pot or wooden spoon.

I used my stainless steel kitchen sink! I used hot water from the tap and filled just enough to slosh the pants around. I used a wooden skewer to move the pants around, as directed.

The color was gone in about 10 minutes, but I left it longer to make sure (20-25 minutes).

FYI the cloth in the pants I used the dye on had Lycra in them. They are a stretchy material.

Worked great! Make sure you follow the directions. You may need to re-dye your clothes later if it takes out too much color, the box says. Since mine were white to begin with I didn't have that problem. Good luck.

Rit Dye Powder Color Remover

Pioneer TS G1644R Full Range Speakers

I replaced 10 year old factory speakers in my 2003 Nissan Altima doors with a pair of these Pioneer 1664R's. First I had them in there a week with the factory head unit. It took me 30 minutes to install both of them and I had not worked on a car speaker install in 30 years.
Nothing to it. I noticed an immediate gain in quality of sound, clarity and volume with the factory head unit. I would recommend them just for that.
The next week I installed a Kenwood DNX1690HD DVD Nav system and these speakers had no problems cranking out 50 watts per channel. With the added volume the clarity of the highs and mids was excellent, much better than with the factory head unit. The Kenwood has adjustable cross-overs and you can get quite a range out of these speakers. Great mid-tones and highs that I can't even hear at my age. The aftermarket head unit made these speakers sound as good as the Polk Audio Db651's and Alpine Type S speakers I listened to....at a fraction of the price. Low price doesn't mean low quality with these Pioneer speakers. Buy them and you will like them. I listen mostly to classic rock, metal, Zappa, Tool, Metallica type stuff. Let me tell you, these Pioneer speakers are holding their own against 1250 watts to 2 Cerwin Vega 12's in the trunk and a pair of Alpine SPS-619's in the rear deck. Can't beat that for the price.

Before I ordered these jeans, I read several reviews claiming that the Levis products shipped by Amazon are of a lower standard (e.g. thinner material). I'm happy to report that is NOT the case for my recent order.

My sizing for jeans/pants is right on the border for a big and tall man. I can get some clothing that fits me in retail stores, but often I find many of the retail stores go up to 1 size too small for me, and I wind up having to go to a big and tall store (which sometimes has the opposite problem, because I am on the sizing border), and end up having to pay a premium price.

I needed help from the Metra company so I called them for assistance. The first time, the man was rude and assumed I new all the technical language. This was very frustrating and I almost returned the control. When I called the second time, I was connected to the same guy. I do not know who he is but he is just plain rude! Anyway, he was no help and I solved the problem through other means.

The Universal Steering Wheel Control works GREAT! I have it connected to a Sony reciever.

Here is what I needed to know:
-the Axxess Metra Universal Steering Wheel Control wiring harness has a pink wire that needed to be directly spliced into the factory wiring harness. I spliced it into the purple with orange stripe factory wire (pin 14, counting from the top row left to right 1-11, the second row left to right 12-22).

-I used the Metra wiring harness that is compatible with the Chrysler/Jeep factory harness for my 2004 Jeep Liberty. There is not any wire on that harness to splice the pink wire into.

-the Sony installation instructions show a blue wire to be connected to the power antenna and/or the power amp. But, if you do not have either, then connect it to the red wire or your speakers will not work. The blue wire powers the internal amp in the reciever for the speakers.
