Metra 70 1858 Radio Wiring Harness

I needed help from the Metra company so I called them for assistance. The first time, the man was rude and assumed I new all the technical language. This was very frustrating and I almost returned the control. When I called the second time, I was connected to the same guy. I do not know who he is but he is just plain rude! Anyway, he was no help and I solved the problem through other means.

The Universal Steering Wheel Control works GREAT! I have it connected to a Sony reciever.

Here is what I needed to know:
-the Axxess Metra Universal Steering Wheel Control wiring harness has a pink wire that needed to be directly spliced into the factory wiring harness. I spliced it into the purple with orange stripe factory wire (pin 14, counting from the top row left to right 1-11, the second row left to right 12-22).

-I used the Metra wiring harness that is compatible with the Chrysler/Jeep factory harness for my 2004 Jeep Liberty. There is not any wire on that harness to splice the pink wire into.

-the Sony installation instructions show a blue wire to be connected to the power antenna and/or the power amp. But, if you do not have either, then connect it to the red wire or your speakers will not work. The blue wire powers the internal amp in the reciever for the speakers.

My greatest worry was that the windowpane pattern would not be aligned at the seams, which thankfully it was. FYI, the blazer is actually darker than what it looks like in the picture, and the houndstooth pattern is a bit more pronounced. In terms of the sizing, I'm 6'1, 205 lb with a 38' waist (average physique) and I ordered a 44R which fits great. However, when received the item was wrinkled (not sure whether it's due to the way it was packed for shipping or the way it was stored), and it will have to be ironed before being worn outside. If it weren't for this minor disappointment, I would have been very pleased. Nevertheless, I'm giving the item 5/5 to balance the unfair score it received from the guy who didn't know his size (even though I think it deserves a solid 4/5 because of the state that I received it in).

I have been searching around for quite a while for a suitable vest for when I go out on the town. I happened to chance upon this gem here on Amazon and decided it was worth a try.

I ordered the XL size and it arrived in the delivery window. Upon opening the package I checked everything from the seams, the snaps and even the pockets which really are pockets you can use, unlike some other similar vests which only have decorative pocket slots only.

The leather is very soft and it is very light, and I wonder how long it will take for the snaps to tear the leather -- hopefully not too soon.

One thing I did notice is that the picture shown on Amazon shows 5 snaps, whereas my vest that I received only has 4. I thought I would mention that, even though it does not take away anything from this vest at all. I presume the 5-snap vest is the XXL or the XXXL version.

The XL fits me loosely, but it is acceptable, and since I am and XL in torso, I will merely have to wear an extra thick shirt under this vest, which in winter time will not be problem.

First and foremost these are running lights not fog lamps. Example when you buy a vehicle and it comes with those two lights on the lower portion of the front bumper you may call them "fog lamps". (Fog lamps as in that they increase your visibility.) They are not meant to be brighter than your head lamps. Thus, the term "running lights" fits as a better description than fog lamps. The listing states "Driving Light Kit" in the title not fog lamps. I do find these when they are are on improvement of visibility. They do exactly what, I expected them to do. Plus it's easier for on coming traffic to see you as well which is a great added safety benefit. They look good on my Wrangler turned on or off. I found it as an added benefit that they came with grills and the guards included. They look good with or without those awesome looking BAJA covers. My local installer could not believe how much, I spent on these (15 bucks). The installer also stated that these were quality lights. Helpful tip if you have square head lamps you may want to use square or rectangular running lights (it will match better than round). Finally, if you want the real deal fog lamps buy a set of fog lamps not driving lights. I bought a set of 5" round fog lamps and installed them on my windshield with brackets to mount them. The rounds look better where they are mounted higher up even with the square head lamps. Now, I have both running lights and fog lamps on my 4X4. And they look great!

Exactly What I Wanted

This bag is amazing to me. I adore pretty much everything about it.
It is on the large side, I am 5'3", 140. Very close to national average weight/height and it hits me at mid-thigh when hanging from my shoulder. When full with only a laptop (mine is a 17", measuring 16 inches long, 10 wide.) and a binder, notepad, clipboard, agenda book, office supplies, and purse essentials like wallet (ladies sized even!), emergency makeup and chocolate, and some misc electronics (phone, cam, wires), it looks only a little clunky. If you can wear a bag without it wearing you, then this bag will hold ALL YOUR JUNK. If your stature and style is easily overpowered by a chunky purse, you might want to look at a smaller bag.

Fully packed to BUCKET status with [PC, camera, charger, 4 semi-full Binders, textbook, clipboard, notepad, agenda book, emergency reading book sized book, wallet, makeup, TI-84 calculator, glasses and sunglasses, meds, business card holder, AND other random things that I have thrown in. ] It will look like you are lugging around some luggage.

Let me note that my laptop is too big for most laptop bags to close on, and this is no exception, but it is 16" tall and while the Velcro flap will never be able to close the over top of the laptop pouch, my laptop fits in the bag and that is all I can ask for. I just tuck in the flap and use the pouch as an open pocket. Inside, there is one larger medium pocket with a zipper, two smaller fat pockets, two flatter pockets on the outside of one of the smaller pockets, and two pen/pencil pockets that hold 2-3 pens and pencils each.

Outside are two pockets, both with leather externals. The rear pocket is not really a pocket (to go over luggage handle) but I use it like one, though have to keep an eye on the zipper on the bottom to not spill my items. For some weird reason, the back of this pocket is liner material (though not visible at all from the outside. The front pocket unzips and opens up like an accordion file, which makes it easier to root around in. It has two flat pockets in the back of the pocket that hold a wallet or glasses etc.

Love the tacks in the corners and durable feel, and the little leather tassel zipper pull.
Experiencing some minor discoloration and forecasting that the weakest and first point to break on the back will be right where the strap is attached, and much sooner than the life of the rest of the bag is up at that. In general, I still just love the bag. Looks so professional and goes with everything.

I just put this part on yesterday. It was constructed very well, and came with the new mounting bracket required to install it. I installed it on my 96 Chevy Blazer 4x4, in under 2 hours time, with ease. I have no complaints as of yet. The part completely cured; fuel leaking into my intake, my hard start issue, and my rough idle. My fuel pressure is now where it should be, and now I can enjoy knowing that when I turn my key it will start every time without hesitation. Do yourself a favor, and if you need this part don't buy any other brand besides Delphi,or AcDelco. Trust me you will not be satisfied for long. Things to consider when buying this are to also purchase any new gaskets that you would encounter while installing this part. This will only come with gasket that seals the metering body to the upper intake plenum.

I have had this watch for more than 6 months now, and still love it. Bought it for interval training as a way to start jogging. It has two alternating timers with a limit of 10 repetitions. Now, since I am jogging all the way, I don't use the timers that much anymore but the stop watch/lap time feature. After a nice jog, I look back my times and write it down. Apart from the lap times and total time, it also tells you the date and the time the stop watch started running. A good thing if I forget to write down the info! until say a week later. Well, ok, it doesn't exactly automatically keeps track of your improvements (graphs or whatever) but I don't need a more fancy watch.

Love that it is solar powered. I used it as soon as I got it. At first, I was worried since the screen was blank, but as soon as you press a button, it will power up. It goes in stand-by mode if not in use for a long time. The strap is still good (like the 1st day I got it). I have washed my hands (not often though) wearing this watch with no problem.

If you want a runners watch for less than $20, durable, and low maintenance, buying this watch is the way to go.

Allegra Ladies Sleeves Ruffled Design

I put an Alpine deck in this Metra 99-3301 dash kit for my 2003 Chevy Cavalier and it fit great.

This kit is made large enough so that your single DIN stereo deck can go through it without the stereo's DIN sleeve.

With some dash kits you slide the stereo's DIN sleeve into the kit and pull DIN sleeve tabs up so it stays in place. That way you can slide the new deck in and out using the DIN tools that came with your deck without having to remove the dashboard.

With this kit you have to take off the stereo's DIN sleeve first, before putting the deck through it. Once in place you simply screw it in and it fits perfectly. Then you reinstall your dashboard. The caveat here though is every time you want to add a new deck or take this deck out you have to remove the dashboard.

You cant put a din sleeve through the kit along with the radio in this particular kit because there is not enough space and the lip of the sleeve will not make contact with the front of the kit to hold it in place because the top border of this Metra 99-3301 sticks out a bit further than the bottom border. So even if you did manage to wedge it in it wouldnt fit properly. It might be why some people are having issues with the size here. They forgot to take out the DIN sleeve when installing it themselves. Its a single DIN opening that should fit all single DINs since they are all one regulation size.

Im happy with the style and look of it so i went with this. Plus it was easy to install. No cutting required. Just pop the 2 outer tabs into the main box and its done.

I wish the dia. was bigger, but I was willing to sacrafice for accuracy. I've shot Muzzy and Rage and several others, but this is the best broadhead I've shot in 100 gr. package. I always test shoot broadheads before hunting with them (rage excluded) and you should as well. I was lucky enough to have someone hook me up with some dull blades to shoot with and then replace with the originals. I shot a few arrows quickly when I received these as the season was almost over and every arrow flew perfect...center punch. The same afternoon I decided to run a live test on an unsuspecting doe at 25 yds. I've killed many deer with the bow and this may have been my best pinpoint arrow placement ever. 35 yds. to pile up on a double lung shot. You can bet these will be riding my arrows at the beginning of next season. Good luck, good hunting and always take an ethical shot.
