have had back problems for a couple years (i'm only 33). was bedridden for a few months last year until i finally gave in and had surgery. was able to walk and sit down in a chair again, but still have lingering paints (though they are minor compared to last year). i work out of my house and sit in a chair most of the day in my office or in my car or in law school at nights. ordered one of these, arrived in a couple of days (prime member), set it in my office chair...INSTANT RELIEF! i knew of this type of cushion from my mother (she has one) so i knew it would help, but i think this one is better (firmer) than the one she has. i'm around 240 lbs and this cushion is still holding up just fine after sitting in it for a few hours. i'm actually going to order another one for my car as soon as i finish typing this.

This company stands behind the products they sell and offer the same 100% Satisfaction Guarantee as they do on their web site, not like some of the cushions from other companies I've seen for sale here. Some of the sellers won't even allow you a return or refund of their cushion, so if it doesn't work for you, your out the money and stuck with a bad product! Not so with Relaxo Bak! If you're not happy them, don't call Amazon, call Relaxo Bak directly at 1-800-527-5496. Their customer service is outstanding as well. I had a concern about the cushion that I had bought from them, regarding the firmest and durability. As I stated in my previous post, it is somewhat stiff at first, but it does soften up a little after sitting on it. I left them a message, after business hours, about it. They emailed me stating that I may prefer the softer duel density one,

They also, called me and left a message for me saying that they had been trying to reach me to talk to me about it. I called them back and they answered my concerns. They told me that if it wanted to send it back they, try the softer one or whatever I wanted to do, they would be happy to oblige me, even if it was after their 30 day guarantee. WOW, now that's service!!! I will tell you. You can't go wrong with them! Anyone with as much coccyx pain as I have suffered should buy their cushions. They are fantastic!
P.S. One more thing, they do offer a soft, durable velour cover for this cushion if you would like to have one. Just call them to find out the details.
When I bought this my Husband he said he would not use it.

He does allot of driving.
He hurt his tail-bone on a boat. this makes it very comfortable for
him to drive. He is so use to it now, he has to drive with it all the
time, he finds it Very comfortable
This does not smash down, it keeps its shape.
Its the outer part that seems to start coming off.
I bought this on Qvc acouple of years ago for $19.99 plus shipping, but they do not carry it any longer, and this price is high, plus the shipping.
I found it on the Relaxo website. Its 29.99 there plus shipping.
I'm going back to the orginal website to buy this.
This cushion is very comfortable and should help your sore back or tailbone. I researched them all before going with this one, and it was a great choice. Highly recommended. Wonderful customer service, great company with a great product, 5/5!

BalasHapusThis thing is FIRM. If you are looking for a cushion that does not squish down out of shape then this is the cushion for you. I use this cushion around the house and when I go to my son's soccer and basketball games. So much better than those darn bleachers. The tailbone cutout is large. I like that, easier to position yourself. If you have "poundage" this cushion can more than handle it.

BalasHapusWhat got me leaning toward this one is that at least one review mentioned that this cushion is somewhat firm.
Not sure what type of foam this relaxobak is made of but it hits the mark for me.
Memory foam is useless imo as it just compacts completely and gets skin temp too warm (this is not memory foam), and low density foam just doesn't provide support.
The foam that this pad is made of is a higher density foam, but yet it is still cushy.
I am a desk jocky and spend most days sitting at my desk working at a computer.
I go through spells of very bad back pain and spasms lasting a week or two at a time.
This cushion is wedge shaped to make your spine tilt slightly forward, and the cutout lets your spine relax rather than compress while sitting.
The foam compresses just the right amount to be supportive. Your bottom will not hit your chair. It does not slide out of position and doesn't cause static like many cushions do. It fits on any chair. This cushion has gotten rid of nearly all of my pain.
So: I give this cushion kudos and it is not too expensive either.
