The Psychic Golfer Adventures Nightmare
Even though I usually don't read science fiction, I was intrigued by the title of the book (The Psychic Golfer), and decided to take a chance; I'm glad that I did. The author, a first-time published novelist, does a great job.
The book starts off with a strong, descriptive first chapter. Along with well fleshed-out characters and a mini local history lesson, the author has created a setting that brought me right into the pages. Wow.
As the book continues (in Phases, not chapters), the author proceeds to introduce fascinating supporting players, adventurous scenarios, and a tightening knot of dramatic tension.
But, one of the most compelling parts of the book are the overarching interspatial/interdimensional themes and how they could so very easily come to pass.
Along with all of the other components, the steady thrum of a rock 'n roll soundtrack keeps the pace steady and the storytelling coherent.
If you are in the market for a well-done guerilla psychic adventure with hyperdimensional beings and plots, this is your book.
I just finished Joe Darak's book "The Psychic Golfer" and I must say Bravo!!!!! Bravo!!!!! Joe Darak is to paranormal activity as what Jules Verne is to science fiction.........a trail blazer. The Psychic Golfer was truly enjoyable. It kept my mind on the precipice anticipation where the book would take me next. I am on the edge of my seat waiting to find out what paranormal thrills will emanate from Joe Darak's mind in the sequel.
