Plano 1819 Storage Trunk Camo
I picked up one of these trunks at a Bass Pro Shops black Friday promo for $30, and have been nothing short of pleased with the versatility of this box. You can't beat the quality for this price range, and the storage capacity is fantastic. I have so much gear packed in the first box, that I had to get more. I now own 4 of them and have all of my camping gear ready to go into the back of my truck whenever I head out of town.
These boxes are very lightweight but don't let that fool you as to their strength. I have over 50# of gear in a couple of these and they don't sag, bow out, or seem stressed in any way. The latches are very firm, which is comforting as I've had lids to other storage boxes come off when on the highway. These boxes are tough and lockable, which is great for gear you don't want the kids messing with. They stack nicely as well, and I can stack them 4 high in the garage and take up very little space.
Overall, this is the best outdoor gear storage product I could find without breaking the bank. Not just for camping, these boxes would be great for the rest of my garage items, too. I'll probably end up with a dozen of them before I'm done.

After purchasing my first one at a local Sportsman Warehouse, I found them on amazon.com for the same price, DELIVERED!! That was a gas saver and bonus itself. I was concerned about the durability on my first purchase, but after filling them with all my gear, they're actually quite sturdy and easily moved or maneuvered with the four lockable clasps. I intend to purchase two more for the remainder of my camping and outdoors gear and events. Great product.
BalasHapusThis tote was purchased for my son to take to BSA Summer Camp. It is roomy enough for all the gear he will need to take to most summer camps, unless it gets extra cold or he needs to provide a tent. Otherwise great tote. I liked his so much, I bought one for myself.
BalasHapusThis is exactly what I needed for storing all my misc. camp equipment. Now I can just throw these boxes into my truck and take off. One for dry food, one for the stove, gas hose, lantern, etc. and one for plates,cups,paper towels. Makes packing for camping (and getting onto the road) faster and easier. The hinged top with 4 clasps and wheels make it much more handy than just using the thin, cheap plastic storage bins that I had been using.
BalasHapusPerfect Storage Trunk for Boy Scout camp and even better that it is Boy Scout green. Don't be mislead by the "camo" description, it's really just a marbled look. My son says it's "AWESOME"!

BalasHapusOk,this is not the best product out there but for the money does what it supposed to do. It fits all my hunting clothes, two pair of hunting boots and a backpack, and probably I could fit more if I just only arrange it better. The only reason I'm saying that there are better products out there is that you cannot use this for travel , the plastic is not resistant against break in. But for the money...
BalasHapusThis is the best thing ever. The box is light weight and great for almost anything. I do a great deal of hunting and use this box for clothes and food. This is my third one and I would buy more but three is all I need. Its great on the Airboat Swamp Buggy or ATV.

BalasHapusBought this for my husband's recovery gear he takes in the back of the K-5 blazer when he goes off roading. The size works well for his ropes, tow chains and jumper cables, and it makes a handy seat around the BBQ when we were taking a break between runs. Would definitely recommend it.
